Was born on July 1st, 1940 in a small town near the southern Colorado border.The nearest town was San Luis, the oldest town in Colorado.
Her Father was Patrick Jacques, he was a teacher and principal. Her Mother, also a teacher, was Cordelia Pacheco Jacques. She was one of seven children.
Maiva was 82 years old at her passing, she won numerous awards and beauty contests. She was self driven, was always cheerful, but quiet. God gave her skills way beyond the rest of the family. Mavia worked at TJ MAXX for 20 years. She was a determined and loyal worker. She had few material wants including her joy, which was yellow flowers.
She is survived by her Sister, Lorna Taylor and Brothers, William Rocky Jacques and Tom Jacques.
God has a special place in heaven for our loved sister, Maiva.
