in Taft, Texas to Magdalena C. and Francisco H. Torres.
Our father Calixtro married our mother Dolores S. Torres on September 09, 1951,
they were married for 59 1/2 years.
He was a World War II veteran. Retired from the Mathis Police Department; 28 years.
A long time resident of Mathis,Texas; 72 years.
Calixtro is survived by his five children: Magdalena T. Hubbard (Michael), Dolores
Torres-Davis (Mark), Calixtro S. Torres, Jr. (Terry), Estelle T. Scott (Willie) and
Kathy T. Woodring (Cris); nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, six
great-great grandchildren, four sisters and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calixtro is preceded in death by his parents, Magdalena C. and Francisco H. Torres,
his loving wife Dolores S. Torres and seven siblings.
Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 17, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Weed-
Corley-Fish Leander/Cedar Park, 1200 S. Bagdad Road, Leander, Texas, with Chaplain
Michael P. Hubbard officiating. Reception will be held immediately following the Memorial Service
at Weed-Corley-Fish Leander/Cedar Park, 1200 S. Bagdad Road, Leander, Texas.
Burial will follow on the following day on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at
Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery, 9974 I.H. 37 Access Road, Corpus Christi, Texas.
