Geraldean Wilcox West McCracken

Lenoir-Geraldean Wilcox West McCracken, 77 of Lenoir passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at her residence.

Mrs. McCracken was born in Caldwell County on February 22, 1942 to the late Clyde Wilcox and Gladys Holman Wilcox.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmo West, her second husband, William McCracken, daughter, Tereasa West, brother, Clyde Allen Wilcox, sister, Doris Icenhour, granddaughter, Heidi Hamilton, grandson, Bo Price and great granddaughter, Cheyanne Price.

Geraldean was a loving and devoted, wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed doing bible word search puzzels, crossword puzzles, and in her younger years, she loved going fishing.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children; Darrell West, Debra Price and husband Edward, Sandra Edwards and husband Clifford, all of Lenoir, brother: Willie Lee Wilcox and wife Maude of Morganton, Randy Wilcox, and wife Sherry of Statesville, Dennis Wilcox and wife Betty of Hudson and a sister; Renee Townsend of Lenoir.

Also left to cherish her memory are her five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

A Funeral Service to honor Mrs. McCracken will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Pisgah Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Flemings Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service, from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Campbell, Chubby Edwards, Tyler Coffey, Jamie Miller, Wayne Miller and Dwight Alton.
