John A. Laird, Sr. John A. Laird, Sr. died suddenly on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at his home in Langhorne. He was 67. Born in Trenton, NJ, the son of the late Mary D. (Hollingsworth) and Harry B. Laird, he was a resident of Langhorne for the past 8 years. Mr. Laird was a member of Local #542. He was a member of the Penn Warner Club and enjoyed fishing and building model airplanes. Beloved husband of 44 years to the late Frieda (Bahr), Mr. Laird was the loving father of John A., Jr. (Joy) of Levittown, Linda Nottingham (Joe) of Warrington, Michael (Cindy) of Penndel and Robert (Reachel) of Croydon. He will also be sadly missed by his six grandchildren, Courtney, Eric, Ashley, Dylan, Kayla and Leah; his stepmother, Florence Lutton (Dale); sisters, Donna Jagiela and Nancy Koby (Frank); and brother, Harry Laird (Marilyn). He was preceded in death by his siblings, Gary Laird, Theodore J. Laird and Patricia Davidson. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, from 6:00 until 9:00 pm at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
