

Mrs. Beverly Jean Godin (née Re), of Livermore, CA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the age of 80 surrounded by her loving family. Beverly was born on May 15, 1937 in San Francisco, CA to parents Mario and Emma Re. She graduated in the class of 1955 from Balboa High School in San Francisco. When she was 20 years old she married Victor Godin, and the couple had two children. Beverly moved to Millbrae in 1972, put herself through a bookkeeping certification program and started her 25 year career at Peninsula Hospital until she retired in 1998 and moved to Livermore.
When reflecting on Beverly’s life, the first thought that comes to mind is her love for her family. Beverly is survived by her son, David Godin; her daughter, Karen Halfon; her cousin, Shirley Cauterucio; her grandchildren, Brieanna Maske, Rebecca Halfon, Allison Halfon and Hailey Godin; and her great-grandchild, Sonny Davis.
Please join us at a funeral mass celebrating her life on Tuesday, March 20th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Livermore, with a reception to follow. Father Mark Wiesner will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Beverly's life.
