Susan Gayle Reinema

Susan Gayle Reinema passed away July 16, 2014 at the Clear Creek Care Center in Westminster, Colorado. Susan was born March 1, 1948 in Rock Falls, Illinois to Mary (McFalls) Genkinger and Marion Genkinger. She attended Rock Falls schools and after graduating high school in 1966, she spent time in Chicago where she studied interior design. In 1969 she married Loren Reinema and they moved to Denton, Texas where Loren was attending college. After college, Loren joined the Air Force and they eventually moved to Peru, Indiana where sons Eric and Josh were born. The Air Force then took them to Edmond, Oklahoma, which became home for many years. Sue and Loren divorced, but maintained a close relationship until Loren’s death in 2008. She moved to Colorado in 2009 to be close to her sons. She is survived by her sons Eric Reinema of Centennial Colorado and Josh Reinema of Lafayette Colorado, one grandson Charles Reinema, her mother Mary Wolfley, sister Judy Gibson, a niece and a nephew, and several cousins. She was pre-deceased by her father Marion Genkinger, stepfather LaVerne Wolfley, and ex-husband Loren Reinema.
