Norma Jean Bilges, 84, of Kilgore, TX passed away March 7, 2019 at Arbor Grace Nursing Home. She was born January 9, 1935 in Monticella, Arkansas to James Oscar and Audrey Lee Nowlin.

Norma was a very religious woman. She always spoke her mind, was a hard worker. She was a very friendly woman and had many friends. She would make and sell donuts every Wednesday for the women’s missionaries. Norma loved her husband very much. She took everything she did very seriously. She always prayed.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerome Harlan Bilges, brother, J.C. Nowlin and his wife Jeanie Elizabeth.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, James Eric Bilges and wife, Mary Helen, daughter, Rhonda Lea Watts and husband, Michael Ray, sister, Eythe Nowlin, grandchildren, Chance Watts, Bianca, Jonathon, Patrick, and Richard Bilges, great grandchildren, Jupiter Elizabeth Watts.

Services for Norma will be Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. with a visitation Monday, March 11, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Lakeview Funeral Home, 5000 West Harrison Road, Longview, Texas.

Norma is survived by her grandchildren, Chance, Bianca, Johnathon, Patrick, and Richard and great great grandchild, Jupiter Elizabeth Watts. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jerome Harlan Bilges, brother, J.C. Nowlin and wife Jeanie Elizabeth Nowlin.
