D. Jean Raines

D. Jean Raines 90, passed away Monday May 7, 2018. Jean had been a faithful member of Okolona Christian Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jack E. Raines Sr., parents Albert and Eulene Amerson and brother Albert Amerson. Jean leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Jack E. Raines Jr. (Sharon), Cheryl Carey (Bruce), Brenda Raines (John Rice), Susie Hughes (Darrell) and Roy Raines (Kathy), five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A service to honor the life of Jean will be held Thursday at 2pm in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home. Visitation will begin that morning at 11am. A private burial will take place in Resthaven Memorial Park.
