JoAnn Hayden, 84, passed suddenly on May 14, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, son Adam, sisters Sissy Garret, Melda Garrett, Carolyn Benton, Doris Dahl; her brothers Tony, Louis and Cyril Allgeier.

She spent her time caring and tending to her family, playing card games with them and friends; cared for her garden, working the soil with her hands and making sure everything was healthy and thriving; and was a long time member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children: Gary (Lori), Lisa Snider (Paul Mudd) and Jude; grandchildren, Rachel, Hayden, Michael and Heather Snider, and Mark, Lisa and Rosemary Hayden; great-grandchildren, Rosalie Kandra and Braydon Snider; brothers: Henry and Nick Allgeier and sister, Lois Bryant.

Family and friends are welcome to visit on Friday, May 18, 2018 from 2 to 8 pm, at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10 am at Holy Family, 3938 Poplar Level Road, Louisville, Kentucky

She is survived by her children: Gary (Lori), Lisa Snider (Paul Mudd) and Jude; grandchildren, Rachel, Hayden, Michael and Heather Snider, and Mark, Lisa and Rosemary Hayden; great-grandchildren, Rosalie Kandra and Braydon Snider; brothers: Henry and Nick "Bud" Allgeier, sister, Lois Bryant; a many family members.
