Jewel Montfort Howle, 85 was called home on June 7, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband, Black Howle; parents Alfred G. and Lizzie Allgood Sr; two sisters and a granddaughter. She was an Eastern Star and of Baptist faith.

She was the Jewel of the family, but her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Roy L Montfort Jr (Nancy), Kenneth W. Montfort Sr (Kathy), Ann Emberton (the late Rick), Thomas K. Montfort (Theresa) and Holly Coulter (Mike); sister Judy G. Troy, brother A. George Allgood Jr (Barbara); 20 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.

Visitation is Sunday June 10, 2018 from 3 to 8 pm, Arch L. Heady Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.

A Celebration of Jewel’s life will be at 12 pm on Monday, June 11, 2018 at the funeral home followed by interment at Resthaven Memorial Park.
