My Aunt Ruth was a classy, caring person. While growing up I always thought she was so glamourous. I remembered when she sold Mary Kay make up. I so wanted to look like her. So beautiful! I admired her style:)
She was always available for advice. I would call her from time to time to ask advice about cooking. She was an amazing cook. Her salads were amazing.
My mom and her sister Ruth were two
“Peas in a Pod”. They were extremely close talking numerous times a day. They leaned on each other after they lost their husbands and became even closer. They had many adventures together. I was always so thankful for Ruth. She was a straight shooter and I loved that about her.  I will miss her tremendously. 
We will see you again.

Ruth Ann          I just want you to know how much I love you and miss you. Of course everyone knows that already. You have always been there for me. Through Glen, the birth of my two children and now Paul. You have always been the best older sister anyone could have and a lot of times you were more like a mother, especially when  I needed advice. I will miss you so much our phone calls at least four times a day, whether I call you or you call me. I will miss so much hearing your voice giving me advice or asking us to stop by and pick you up something if we were out that way. We will hold your memories  in our hearts forever. I'll never forget all that Ruth Brock did for me; she was a second mom and I cherish her memory.  Rest in Peace Dear Lady

I had the pleasure of moving in next door to Mrs. Ruth 3 years ago. She was a generous neighbor. She’d offer her driveway for parking  to our family and friends when we’d have gatherings. I’d bring her a plate of home cooked food from time to time. She hired my husband a couple times to do little things around the exterior of her home. She let our kiddos ride their bikes in her driveway space as well. We’d bring packages in for her when needed and take her trash out or to the curb(when we remembered). When we’d talk on the phone it would sometimes be upwards of an hour of gabbing. She’d share the history of our block and how it’s grown, and her life living in the house. She was special to me. I’m going to miss her very much.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, James Wesley Brock.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Michelle O’Neil (Rick) and Chris Brock (Jane); grandchildren, Sean O’Neil, Lauren Harden (Ryan), Jesse Brock, and Bowman Brock; siblings, Joe, Evie, Jeanie, LaVonne, Sherry, and Tammy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
