Martha Laura Weeks

Services for Martha Laura Weeks, 57, of Diboll, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 14, 2020 in the Ryan Chapel United Methodist Church in Diboll, with Reverend Dick White officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the church.

Martha was born November 7, 1962 in Mexico, and passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020 in a Lufkin hospital.

Martha was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and aunt. She was employed as an inspector with Fed-Ex. She loved gardening, sewing, farming, traveling, cooking, crafting and having fun. She especially loved being with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Weeks of Diboll; daughters, Erika Gonzales, Izabella Gonzales, both of Diboll, and Lauren Flores of Houston; son, Michael Flores of Houston; father, Jose Layton of Mexico; mother, Eustolia Layton of Humble; brother, Joe Layton of Humble; sisters, Carol Perez and husband Arthur of Humble, Lupina Layton of Houston, and Anita Pauly and husband Bill of Houston; stepsons, William Weeks and wife Katie of Diboll and Bryan Weeks and wife Catalin of The Woodlands; 4 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Martha was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Layton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Arthur Perez, Bill Pauly, William Weeks, Bryan Weeks, Justin Paiz, Chris Paiz, Gabriel Perez, Gregory Perez, Bill Pauly, IV and Mark Pauly.
