

Theresa Clark Maner, 41, of Lynchburg, passed away, Monday, May 3, 2010 at Virginia Baptist Hospital. She was the loving and devoted wife of Gerald Paul "J.J." Maner, Jr.
Born January 8, 1969 in Henderson, NC, she was the daughter of Beth Pittman Truxell and husband, Matt of Rustburg and Larry Wayne Clark of Norlina, NC. She was a Physician’s Assistant with Central Virginia Surgery and was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. Theresa’s passion in life was following her children in their sports at Brookville, Timberlake and T.D.Y. programs.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by four sons, Dustin, Devin, Dylan, and Damon Maner; father-in-law, Gerald P. “Jerry” Maner, Sr.; mother-in-law, Cindy Blanks and husband, Mike; two sisters-in-law, Courtney Drummond and husband, Steve and Lindsey Blanks; two nephews, Mason and Holden Drummond; a niece, Riley Drummond; a very special family friend, Holly Cunningham and two Godchildren, Whitney and Scott Bernard.
A celebration of Theresa's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Dr. Rick Ewing officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
