Margaret Getz Malloy, 91, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 in St. Cloud, Florida. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 24, 2018 in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. A Rosary will be said at 5:00 PM on Friday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. Father Scott Winchel will officiate. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
Mrs. Malloy was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Elizabeth Oster Getz and Joseph Getz and was the widow of Francis X. Malloy. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in St. Cloud, Florida. Mrs. Malloy loved her family and her church and she kept her age a closely guarded secret.
Mrs. Malloy is survived by her sons, Gerard P. Malloy of Florida and Francis “Frank” Malloy, Jr. of Macon; grandchildren, Bradford M. Malloy, Meredith M. Malloy, Nicholas J. Malloy and Matthew T. Malloy; great-grandchild, Tyson M. Malloy.
