

She was a lifelong musician and singer. She spent many weekends playing around Charleston with her sister, Rachel, as the Brown Sisters and the Road Runner Band.
Agnes was the daughter of the late McKinley and Gertrude Brown of Campbells Creek.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Kathaleen Holstine, and brothers, Maurice, James Elvin and Roy Brown.
She is survived by her husband, Arnis Walker; daughter, Sandra Walker; grandchildren, Heather Adams (Chad) and Donnie Carpenter (Krystal); great-grandchildren, Riley Hardin, Harley Carpenter and Alexander Adams. Also left to cherish her memory are siblings, Adam Brown, Rachel Walker, Olive Tuttle and Princess Bartley; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with the Rev. Greg Stover and the Rev. John Young officiating. The burial will follow the service at Kanawha Valley Memoria Gardens, Glasgow.
Family and friends will gather for the visitation on Wednesday, February 3, 2016, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
