

William E. 'Bill' Levison, age 81, of 659 Weller Avenue, died Tuesday January 15, 2002 at Lexington Court Care Center following an extended illness. Mr. Levison retired as a chief engineer from American Electrical Products after 47 years of service. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and a life member of Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Mr. Levison enjoyed playing jazz guitar, private pilot flying, model planes, photography, gardening and with his wife, offered musical entertainment at many local and area nursing homes. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, M. Eileen Schuler Levison; a daughter, Nancy Hartman of Columbus; a grandson, Scott Hartman; a son, Phil Levison of Columbus. His daughter, Carolyn; his parents, Emanuel & Clementine Laird Levison; a brother, Philip Levison; and a sister, Marion Homuth preceded him in death.
Friends may call at St. Luke's Lutheran Church one hour prior to the funeral service, which will be held Saturday, January 19 at 11:00 a.m. at the church, conducted by Rev. Stephen Patrick. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or the Habitat for Humanity. Wappner Funeral Directors are handling local funeral arrangements.
