In his early years, William enlisted in the U.S. Army, served two tours in Vietnam, and was awarded the Purple Heart during his service. Following his service to his country, he became a banker and was a C.P.A. most of his life. William enjoyed golfing, gardening, wood working, and playing cards.
William is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of many joyful years, Neva; sons, Charlie Fountain of Austin, TX, Andre Castille of Port Arthur, TX, and David Fountain of El Paso, TX; grandsons, William Castille, Sabian Castille, and Dean Paul Fountain; granddaughter, Cayla Fountain; brother, Bob; and sister, Judy.
