

John Earl Feldman, age 59, passed away on May 23, 2026, after a lengthy illness. Born on August 13, 1966, in Marlin, Texas, John was the son of Donald and Margaret (Page) Feldman, and he remained rooted in the community of Marlin, Texas throughout his life.
John graduated from Marlin High School in 1984 and went on to attend Hill Junior College. He later worked for Marlin Ranchers and in the oilfield, bringing steady dedication to the work he did and the people alongside whom he did it.
A kind-hearted and compassionate presence, John was known for the warmth he extended to others and the quiet steadiness with which he cared for those he loved. Even in difficult seasons, he could still offer a welcome sense of humor—an ease that reminded family and friends that light can be found even in hard moments.
John loved God, his family, baseball, and all cowboy ways—devotions that reflected what mattered most to him and the simple, enduring joys he held close.
John was preceded in death by his grandparents, August and Vera Feldman, and Leon and Margaret Page, as well as his beloved pet, Abbey.
Survivors include his parents, Donald and Margaret Feldman; daughter, Ashley Feldman; sons, Tanner Feldman and Chance Feldman; and grandsons, Jordyn Nevels, Traiger Feldman, and Carter Feldman.
