Josie was the beloved wife and best friend of her one and only love, the late Joseph Vernace. She was daughter of the late Nanie Thompson Domino and Louis (Luigi) Domino. Devoted mother to Michael Vernace (Dawn Monaghan Vernace) and Grandmother to Codi Vernace. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers Louis, Joseph and Guy Domino.
Josie had a love for nature and spent most of her leisure time in her garden or with her beloved dog Shaggy.
Visitation will be held on Friday June25, 2021 at 6:00 pm at Westside Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbanck Expressway, Marrero, LA. Friends and family are invited to attend.
