Maureen Ann Ledet passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the age of 64. She was the beloved wife of the late Olden Ledet. Daughter of the late Andrew and Dora Zapata. Mother of Charles Ledet (Monique), Rosanna Ledet, Michelle Spicer (James). Grandmother of James Spicer Jr. (Fawn), Jennifer Spicer, Jonas Spicer, Nicholas Ledet, Joshua Ledet, and Julia Skinner. Sister of Claudia Hubbell, Marilyn Zapata, Jennie Watkins, Jana Zapata, Marshall Zapata, and Frances Kocijanski, as well as the late Andrew Zaptata II, Joseph Zapata, and the Ardeena Barton. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Monday, May 9, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will be in Restlawn Cemetery in Avondale. Express condolences at www.westsideleitzeagan.com.
