Oma Lucille Beaty, 82, passed away at home Tuesday, April 2, 2019. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 5, 2019 at Post Oak Cemetery in Oglesby, Texas, Chaplain Danny Tomlinson officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Cole Funeral Home, McGregor, Texas.
Mrs. Beaty was born in Levita, Texas on April 20, 1936 to Barney Truelove and Geneva (Whitehead) Truelove. Lucille’s mother died giving birth. Her father married Margaret Koether and together they raised Lucille. Lucille married J.R. Beaty on June 21, 1953. They were married for 46 years until his passing in 1999. She loved to play Bingo and being with her family.
Survivors include son, Gary R. Beaty; daughters, Debra Beaty Covey, Sandra Beaty; grandchildren, Steven Beaty, Angie Perez, Adriana Fossett; great grandchildren, Zane, Kyler, Emma, Hunter, Kaisen, Colt; sisters, Louise Glass and husband, Donald, Sue Smith, Ann Fisher, and Kay Henning.
