Maxine B. Pommer

Maxine B. (Howton) Pommer, 94, of Memphis, TN passed away on June 29, 2022 from COVID-19. Maxine was born June 5, 1928 at home in McFadden, AR to Homer Lee Bullington and Carrie Peacock Bullington. After high school she attended nursing in Hot Springs, AR. She retired from nursing at the Veterans Hospital in Memphis, TN. Everyone who knew Maxine knew how much she loved her church. She made it a point to attend every service possible. Her fun times included shopping or browsing catalogs to order things. She was predeceased by her husband Herman Pommer, brothers Homer Lee and Odis Bullington. She is survived by her daughter Jo Ann (Brent) Powell, granddaughter Daphne Terry, great grandchildren Coby Harris of Irving, TX and Tori (Alex) Standard, great great grandchildren Lilly and Phoenix Standard of Hoschton, GA. Memorial service will be held at Berclair Church of Christ, Saturday July 2, 2022 at 10:00am.
