Roberta Mooney Lockhart

Roberta Mooney Lockhart, 85, went to meet the Lord on November 2, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Lockhart; son, David Lockhart; granddaughter, Erin Lockhart; mother Ruby Murphy and father Ed Mooney. She was a 1951 graduate of Memphis Tech High School. Roberta was an active member of Grimes Memorial United Methodist Church, serving in many positions there.

She is survived by her brother in law Gordon Lockhart (Geri); nephew, Justin Lockhart; niece, Katelyn Lockhart; cousins Irma Cresswell, Jim McCutchen (Janet), Robert Mooney and many more.

The family will receive friends Monday November 5, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 6, 2018 at 2 p.m.; all in the chapel of Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue; with interment to follow at Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh LaGrange, Memphis.

Memorials in memory of Mrs. Lockhart may be offered to Grimes Memorial United Methodist Church.
