Age 74 of Miamisburg, Ohio passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013. She was preceded in death by her loving parents, James McKinney and Lona Rowland McGuffie; sisters, Dovie Kesling, Louise Messer, and Wanita McKinney. Wanda is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Ellis Lakins Jr. and her sister, Lucille Melton. She is the devoted mother to Ellis (Lenny) Lakins III and Jennifer Lakins; proud grandmother of Jillian Sizemore and Alexi Lakins. Wanda was an owner and beautician for over 20 years of Lakins Beauty Shop. She had a warm and generous heart. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. Friends and family may visit from 6-8 PM on Friday, April 12 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral service at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 13 also at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Scroggins officiating. Interment following at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
