Joann Sutton Campbell

Joann Campbell, 77, of Midland passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012. She was born on March 8, 1935 in Case County, Texas to Roy Chester Sutton and Opal Lee Easley. She was a long time resident of Midland. Our MOM was known for her pies and hospitality for 35 years at Service Drugs. She was a loving and caring person and a true blessing from God to all of us. And for the last years of her life at Manor Park she was a light of hope to all who came to know her. She will be truly missed by all of us; God truly blessed us with an angel!!!

She is preceded in death by parents, her husband, J.M. Campbell, a daughter, Debra Ann, two sisters and two brothers.

Joann is survived by her sons; Harold Campbell, Danny Campbell and Malcom Campbell all of Midland; a daughter, Peggy Garner of Midland; brothers; Winford Sutton of Texarkana, Texas, Jimmy Sutton and Chester Sutton both of Midland; sisters, Pat Hicks and Donna Friday both from Midland, Kay Taylor of Naples, Texas, Christine Donaldson of Fredericksburg, Texas and Evon Massey of Robert Lee, Texas. She also leaves behind twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends Monday, December 17 at Ellis Funeral Home between the hours of 6:00-8:00pm. A funeral service has been scheduled for Tuesday, December 18 at 10:00am in the Ellis Funeral Home Chapel.
