Carol Lynn Molter

CAROL L. MOLTER, 83, of Gulf Breeze passed away September 3, 2018. Born August 26, 1935 to the late Elbert & Muriel Seibert who were long time residents of New Jersey. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Molter and her eldest son, Dale Molter and brother, Dr. Jay Seibert. Carol grew up with her brothers Dr. Jay Seibert and Dr. Drew Seibert and parents, Elbert and Muriel Seibert in West Orange, NJ and attended their school systems until 1951 and later moved to Bernardsville, NJ, where she graduated high school in 1953.

Carol met her future husband George in 1955 in Fort Myers, FL while on vacation. In 1956, they were united in marriage in Bernardsville, NJ and later moved to Flemington, NJ where George was employed by Jersey Central Power & Light Co. for 35 years.

Married for 55 years, George and Carol had 6 children; Dale P. Molter (deceased), Bert G. Molter, Darron J. Molter, MD, Victoria L. Schneider, Gerald D. Molter, and Corinne M. Jones all whom graduated from Hunterdon Central High School in Flemington, NJ. In addition, George and Carol Molter had 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

George and Carol spent many of their retirement years on Bonita Beach enjoying their family. They returned to George’s birthplace (Fort Myers) for several years until George’s passing in December of 2011. Carol resided in Gulf Breeze in an Assisted Living Community at the Beacon where she met some lovely friends until her recent passing on September 3, 2018.

Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 3pm at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907.
