

James “Jim” “Jimmy Love” L. Lindberg, age 78, of Pace, Florida, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Berwyn, Illinois September 11, 1936 to the late Harold and Helen Lindberg.
Jim was a United States Army Veteran and retired from Gibson Greetings, Inc. as a warehouse manager. He moved to Pensacola, FL in 1976 from Brookfield, Illinois. Jim was an avid bowler and actually bowled two 300 games in his lifetime. He also was a bass fisherman as well as a Chicago Cubs and Bulls fan.
Jim was preceded in death by a brother, Craig Lindberg.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 38 years, Maria Lindberg; his sons, Randy Lindberg of Brookfield, IL and Todd (Jolene) Lindberg of Pace, FL; his daughters, Lisa Lindberg of Brookfield, IL and Jamie Lindberg (Ajay) McLaughlin of Minot, ND; his grandchildren, Andrea (Bradley) Lindberg Shaner, Claudia Lindberg and Sean Lindberg; his brother, Harold Lindberg, Jr. of Brookfield, IL; his sisters, Sandy Lindberg (Frank) Lovisa of Hoffman Estates, IL and Linda Lindberg (Dave) Kraechan of San Francisco, CA; and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be Monday, March 9, 2015 from 6 PM until 8 PM with a service at 7:30 PM at National Cremation & Burial Society with military honors. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Barrancas National Cemetery.
