I remember Kevin fondly and he was always so polite and friendly as a kid and always smiling. I always used to love seeing Kevin and Sonya's photo (when they were little) on the All My Children frame Doctor Russell had on the wall by the lab at Magnolia Medical. I was touched when Kevin requested my friendship on Facebook and was glad to comply.  My sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers are with Danny, Lucille, Diane, Sonya and the rest of the family. I don't have a childhood memory that doesen't revolve around Kevin (and Sonya, Holly, Darrel, Heath and Hal.) We were always together. Weekends were spent in the back of the vans heading to little churches all over the south. Weeknights found us camped out at someones house playing games or watching old movies. Every kid I knew wanted to be one of us. Those Melody Master days shaped me into who I am today. I'm so grateful for those days together! Each memory is a cherished one!

I pray that the Peace that passes all understanding will surround the Adkison family today and everyday until we are all together again singing praises to our Lord!

Kevin was my best friend after moving to Florida in 1976.  We experienced so many great times together, especially at Elliott Point Elementary School.  Tree forts, camping...you name it.  Kevin was a great person and an all around great friend.  I only wish his life didn't have to be so short.  I will always love you my brother.  Peace be with you.
