Fuzzy,

….. Catching up after a long, long time.

Today we are watching the Open and much of our conversation has been about you and Diane.  I so regret not staying closer as we all grew up.  Diane was a dear friend when we were kids and, like all of us, I was always so, so proud of your accomplishments as an individual, a father and a golf star.  From the pix album, I see Diane as a wonderful mother, dedicated wife and lovely person whom I appreciated so much.  It is edging up on a full year since you lost Diane and I can imagine that the year has been hard.  Please accept our love and strength and great respect for the tough time you all endured. Saw Dianne many times in Fuzzy's gallery over the years.  Easy to see how much Fuzzy loved her. Enjoyed Fuzzy and Gretchen playing our PNC Father-Son tournament in Orlando. Gretchen was the star of the show and won over many fans. When I played St. Andrews in 1985, the starter told me how kind Fuzzy was to some handicapped folks watching the 1984 British Open. I know I speak for all the Fuzzy fans out there in extending our sympathy to the family and you will be in our prayers.

What a beautiful lady both inside and out...her smile was infectious! The Moyer Family has you all in our thoughts and prayers.

Sorry to hear Diane passed away Fuzzy.  My condolences and prayers for the Zoeller Family. 

Diane and I spent much time together while living in Altawood, a safe haven for kids our age. All parents in that neighborhood were active in providing a wonderful environment for us. Diane was extra special to me. She was talented, good looking and generous. We truly enjoyed our time together.  Although we have not kept in touch since I moved to Florida 37 years ago, I often think about her, Fuzzy and children.  We are only a few weeks apart in age. She will be severely missed, but I will treasure all memories as I already have throughout those years. I am thankful that she is joined by her loving mother, Lorraine, to help guide and assist her in Heaven.

So very sorry for your loss.  My wife and I walked along with Diane and Gretchen for several holes following Fuzzy at the tourney in Boca several years ago.  They both could not have been warmer and more engaging to us "FUZZY FANS".  It's a fond remembrance of a wonderful time enjoying  Fuzzy's career.

            It's been 44 years since we last saw and spoke to each other. I was 19 and coming in the pro shop at the former Elks Club. You were finishing a round during the Jeff Elks Open, and had a drink in one hand and your new bride, Diane in tow, gently I will add. You introduced Diane to dad(Ken Riker) and I, and for the first time in a while golf didn't really seem to matter.
           Dad and  I could tell this LADY  made you happy. Fuzzy, I have been married almost 42 years and I can't imagine being without Cathy. But, in a while I'm sure you and your girls sadness will be lessened as you recall Diane's memories of your good life lived together. My heart goes out to you. I  will keep you in my prayers. 

I have many fond memories of visiting Diane when we were children and the wonderful family lunches when my sister and I were able to visit from New York. She will be sorely missed. My condolences to her family.

Diane was so very beautiful inside and out. Her smile and laugh lit up any room and she was always so welcoming to my family and me. She was like another parent when I was growing up, and I will forever be grateful for her. I will never forget telling her I was expecting triplets - she smiled and laughed after the shock wore off, and kept saying, “Wow, that’s unbelievable!” Her face lit up every time she saw them. I will also think of Diane whenever Rodney Strong wine is served - I liked that she referred to it as “Strong Rodney.” 

Diane, you will be missed by so many. You touched many lives, and I’m grateful to have had you in my life. You were always such a bright and inspiring light. Many prayers and lots of love to the Zoeller family.
