Stuart Harris Rogers, 91, of New Braunfels, and formerly of Swinney Switch, Texas passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016, after a long and productive life. He was born on July 15, 1925 to Madison and Gertrude (DeDe) Rogers in San Antonio TX. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Lorraine Rogers; brother, Madison Rogers; wife, Betty Lott Rogers; and daughter, Kimberly Rogers. He graduated from Ray High School in Corpus Christi, Texas and was a WWII veteran having served in the Merchant Marines. He is survived by his daughters, Jackie Richardson and husband David of Corpus Christi; Brenda Rogers of New Braunfels; and Diane Rogers Polak and husband Rick of Mountain Home; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. The internment will be at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of Zoeller Funeral Home, New Braunfels, TX.
