Regina Fadziewicz

Regina Fadziewicz, 88, passed away peacefully at Live Well in Plantsville, CT on August 2, 2018. She was born on July 12, 1930 in Poland to the late Alexander and Urszula (Auguc) Szematowicz. In 1949 Regina married the late Walerian Fadziewicz in Poland and moved to New Britain with their children in 1963 where they worked hard and raised their family. Regina always loved to bake and cook for her family and friends.

Regina is survived by her son Stanley Fadziewicz and his companion Cathy Simpson of New Britain, daughter Alfreda “Lilly” and her husband Richard Zakosciely of Newington. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Henry Fadziewicz and several brothers and sisters. Her funeral Services will begin on Monday August 5th at 10:30am in New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home 444 Farmington Ave. New Britain followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am at Sacred Heart Church 158 Broad St New Britain. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 4pm at the Funeral Home.
