Susan Upham Gayle

SUSAN UPHAM GAYLE died on Friday, November 23, 2018 peacefully at home in Metairie, LA. She is survived by her husband, the Reverend W. Gedge Gayle, Jr. and by her son John R. East and grandson Alexander A. East, of Guntersville, AL. She is also survived by Betsy Gayle Fox and Ashley and Olivia Fox of Charlotte, NC, Stuart G. Gayle (Rachel) and Amelia and Lucy Gayle of New York, NY, and by her sisters Sally Upham Hays of Metairie and Margie Upham Banks of Signal Mountain, TN.

A memorial service will be held at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 2216 Metairie Road, on Thursday, November 29 at 10:30 a.m. Visitation begins in the church at 10:00 a.m. A reception will follow the service.
