Michael Anthony Lewis

Michael Anthony Lewis, son of the late Audrey Cook was born on January 12th, 1946 in Greensboro, North Carolina. He graduated from Asnuntuck Community-Technical College with a degree in Science. Michael was a veteran and served honorably in the United States Air Force as a mechanic. He was awarded with the Connecticut Wartime Veterans Service Medal for his upstanding valor, courage, and civic engagement as a member of the Armed Services.

He utilized his skill of woodworking to create beautiful picture frames and jewelry boxes for his loved ones. Michael also enjoyed fishing trips with fellow veterans and watching cooking shows.

He quietly departed this life Monday, May 11, 2020 at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. His influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him.

Michael is survived by his ex-wife Eloise Lewis; children Kimberly Lewis and Michael Lewis Jr.; sister Gherrianne Forrester-Bell; and four grandchildren.
