Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, November 14th, 2019 in her 94th year. Jean was the beloved wife of the late Gordon (1985). Loving mother of William (Patricia) and Joan Theobald (Roy). Cherished Granny B to Sean (Heather), Amy Gilbert (David) and Sarah Mannone (Frank). Dear great-grandmother of Olivia, Rory, Christian and Ella. She will also be missed by her sisters Elizabeth, Hazel, Doris and Susan and her brother Thomas as well as her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her siblings Mary, Harry and Sherman.
Jean was a proud veteran. Prior to her declining health, she was an active member and volunteer at the former Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 51 and longtime parishioner of St. David’s United Church.
At Jean’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will follow at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Poppy Fund in your city would be appreciated by her family.
The family wish to say a big “Thank You” to Bella Senior Care Residence for the wonderful kindness, care and compassion given to our Mother during her time there.
