Clive Palfrey, PhD, 71, born Hugh Clive Palfrey in Sheffield, England; scientist, medical school professor, researcher, clothing designer, jazz lover, and seeker of knowledge. Beloved husband of Sandra Palfrey nee Brutkiewicz; son-in-law of Gerald and Diana Brutkiewicz; brother-in-law of Jean (John) Cameron and Randy (Susan) Brutkiewicz; uncle of Aaron, Alex, and Amy. Clive was preceded in death by his loving mother Norah Haynes Palfrey and father Arthur Palfrey. Clive will be remembered by his family and friends for his kindness, generosity, dry humor, brave spirit, and his incredible intellect and inquisitiveness. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Three Crowns Park (Chapel), 2323 McDaniel Avenue, Evanston, IL 60201, with a reception to follow.
