He died at home in Norman, OK, on March 22, 2020, as a result of cancer.
He was a 1976 graduate of U.S. Grant High School in Oklahoma City, and worked for General Motors for 27 years.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years Christine (Mushinski), son Richard Michael, daughter Melissa Lynn and her husband David Haeffner, grandchildren Haley, Brittany, Scarlet, Miles, and great-granddaughter Annabelle, also survived by his brother, Chris and his wife, Karen, nephews Jeremy and his wife Allison, and O’Neal and his wife Robyn, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his mother and father-in-law, Frank and Jean Mushinski, aunts and uncles, two brothers-in-law, Frank Mushinski and Calvin Brooks, and niece Jessica Christine Fernandey.
In lieu of flower, donations may be made to the Norman Animal Shelter or St. Anthony's Hospital.
