Kenneth W. Massengill, age 85, passed away at Gulf Coast Medical Center, Fort Myers, Florida Thursday July 21,2011. Mr. Massengill is survived by daughter, Diane Massengill Abraham, son-in-law, Richard Abraham, of Domincal, Costa Rica. Son, Scott W. Massengill, daughter-in-law Karianne Massengill, of Cape Coral, Florida, daughter, Sandra Rozyla, son-n-law, Gene Rozyla. He also leaves behind three grandchildren: Chloe' Massengill, Connor Massengill and Anne Marie Rozyla, as well as two sisters, Wanda Jean Massengill Montgomery and Shirley Elaine Massengill Barbour of Marionville, Missouri. Kenneth is a veteran of World War II Coast Guard Division. He was a lifetime member of the Masons and Shriners as well as participated in the Shrine Oriental Band. He also volunteered many hours at the Fort Myers VA Clinic. He was a beloved father and grandfather and will be greatly missed. Per his wishes, no services will be held, cremation will take place at Lee Memorial Gardens, In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital.
