Winifred (Wendy) R Bradley

Wendy R. Bradley 86, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on April 8, 2017Ms. Bradley was born in Adrian Michigan October 7, 1930 and moved to Bradenton Florida in 1955, then to Fort Myers in 1979. She was a long time member of St Hilary's Episcopal Church. She served in a number of activities with the church. She is survived by her Son; Michael Fullerton (Joy), and Daughter; Cheri Nitz; two Step­ Daughters; Sheryl Bradley (Tom), & Chris Eley (Jim). She also leaves 3 Grandchildren (Shane, Randy, & Ashley), and 2 Step Grandchildren (Ronnie. & Daniel) and 3 great grandchildren; Wyatt, DeSean and Kali. She has 5 Sisters, & 3 Brothers. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Lew Bradley. She was a Registered Professional Nurse for 63years 1951 to 2013. She graduated from Foote Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Jackson, Michigan with a Diploma in 1951, and later attended University of South Florida College of Nursing Tampa, Florida obtaining a Bachelor of Science Nursing in 1979. Her Professional Nursing career started in 1951 as Nurse in the United States Army until 1955.10 1955 she worked as a Nurse at Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton Florida. She moved to Sarasota in 1963 and was employed as a Nurse at Sarasota Memorial Hospital until 1972. She was employed at Tampa VA Hospital while attending USF. Upon graduation from USF. She moved to Ft. Myers, Fl., and was employed as an Occupational Health Nurse for Lee County Electric Cooperative from 1979 to 1997. In 1997 she became employed as Occupational Health Nurse at Heinz Frozen Foods­ Bagel Bites Div.- Ft. Myers. She enjoyed her life as a Mother, Grandmother, Wife, & Nurse; always mindful of the Presence of God's & His Son's Precious Love, and the Guidance of his Little Angels. She loved her Family. She was active in her Professional Organizations: Am. Nurses Assoc. -FNA.; & Am. Assoc. of Occ. Health Nurses-FOHN. The family will receive Friends at National Cremation & Burial Society, 3453 Hancock Bridge Parkway, North Ft. Myers on Friday, April 21, 2017 - 1 PM to 5 PM. Funeral services celebrating Wendy's life will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Hilary's Episcopal Church, 5011 McGregor Blvd. Fort Myers, FL 33901 with The Rev. Charles A. Cannon, III., officiating. Interment Coral Ridge Cemetery, Cape Coral, FL. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her Memory to St Hilary's Episcopal Church Endowment Fund.
