Edith Chaplan

Edith was a strong force in Deaf Jewish Leadership holding offices in the Hebrew Association of the Deaf in NY, Temple Beth Or, NY, and the National Congress of Jewish Deaf. She founded the JCC of the Deaf in Broward County and was a vital part of their religious and social community. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Chaplan; devoted mother of Lauren (Harvey) Jordan; adored grandma of Stacy (Mitchell) Greenberg, Barrie (Todd) Marmor; proud great grandmother of Dax, Ryan, Ella and Avery.
