Today as we clean out my mil’s house , there is not a room that a picture of Frannie is not in . Although we never told Aunt Marilyn she had passed away , she must have known in her heart . There are birthday cards that Frannie sent amongst so many little notes . I decided to keep  every picture and card and will continue to cherished every one.

Though she is gone, I will always remember her beauty and her wonderful smile and the fun we had whenever we visited.  The last time we were with Frannie and Alan was in Edwards Co. about 5 or 6 years ago.  we had such a good time; and it seems that whatever we talked about, we ended up laughing hysterically.  It was a memorable time.  Sending my love to Alan and the girls.

What words can I write to express our deep feelings of loss.  We loved Frannie and we cherish so many wonderful memories of so many wonderful times we had with all of you.  From sitting at your Sedar Table on our Honeymoon, to jumping back onto the boat when a shark swam by, to just being with all of you at your beautiful homes are just a few cherished memories.  We have always felt lucky and appreciative to have always been considered family.  So many wonderful memories.  Frannie's beautiful relaxed smile will always be with us, and we will always appreciate and continue to cherish the decades of good times we shared together. Dear Allan, Susan, Barbara, and Michelle,

I don't know whether you remember, but when our family moved to Florida in 1974 we stayed with you for a few weeks until our house was ready.  I remember waking up early and getting ready for school, and your mom passing toasted bagels and the best orange juice I've ever tasted through the kitchen window to the table outside by your pool where we ate breakfast before either Allan or my dad drove us to SDHA.  It's one of my most vivid memories of Frannie, and I always feel very comforted when I think of it.

I've known you guys my whole life, and I've always thought of the Zaleskys as my second family.   Frannie was very special to me as I know she was to you.  I know you miss her terribly, as do I.

Dear Allan and All the Family:  How fortunate we are  that we met Frannie so early in our lives.    We quickly came to understand that her beauty was far more than skin deep.   Over 70 years she brought to our lives continual kindness, beauty and grace.  So many wonderful memories  flood our consciousness today of the times spent together in Florida and Colorado.
