Yolanda M. Watson

Yolanda Watson died peacefully on December 1, 2019. She is survived by her two sons, Joseph (Linda) and Harold and 4 grandchildren; Joseph (Katie), Jessica, JuliAnn(Joe) Boufford and Aidan. Yolanda was born in Costa Rica and leaves behind several brothers and sisters along with many nieces and nephews and extended family in her native country.

Yolanda was an elementary teacher in Costa Rica and a Spanish teacher in Miami when she arrived in the United States with her husband, Joe (deceased). She prayed the rosary every day and attended Mass regularly. She loved visiting with her family & friends and sitting in her backyard under the mango tree.

The family will be having a private Mass at a future date. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, December 8th from 2pm-4pm, Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral and Event Center. Prayer service will be at 3:30pm.
