Robert was born Oct 21st, 1944 in Detroit MI to Francis & Dorothea Shaffer, and was the third of eight children.
He was a realtor in the Wise County Ft Worth area for over 20 years, and was active in the Lion’s Club for many years. He enjoyed working on his farm and being with his grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his wife Carole, two sons, a daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren, and his mother and six sisters.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at New Hope Church, 1110 County Rd 2425, Decatur TX on Monday October 21st, from 4 PM to 6 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to WARM Mission, PO Box 1084, Decatur TX.
