Remembering  Holidays and Sunday afternoons at grandma Nevin’s with Uncle Rose!  He always had a smiling face! He was the official family photographer and tickler of all the children! Raising a family of three daughters as a single parent was not easy, but he “Rose” to the task.  Rest In Peace Uncle Rose and tread likely with those Nevin Sisters!!  💕💕🙏🏼🙏🏼

Growing up in the next block from Uncle Rose – (for his rosy cheeks)– and Aunt Lorraine was wonderful. Uncle Rose was a wonderful uncle who would do anything to make all of the kids laugh – funny faces, funny stories – and always with a little smile that would let you know it was just fun. He is the last to pass of his generation – so glad that he is finally with Aunt Lorraine, Kathy and Steve. They all must be playing cards up there. 

RIP to a man who always had a trick up his sleeve and a loving smile to share -  my deepest condolences, rest easy Pop 💓 hugs to the family 

So many phrases or words I can still hear vividly in my ears. Stuff like “where you at?” calling his cat, “huh?” cause he’s been hard of hearing since I can remember, and my favorite “hey boy!” teasingly of course. I consistently use this one with my boys and now will continue to do so as an Ode to Pop Pop.
