June Lorraine Kautsch (nee Councilman) passed away peacefully on June 2,2025 after a brief illness. Daughter of the late Clarence and Lucy Councilman. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur C. Kautsch. She is survived by her children Lorraine J. Kautsch, Gerrie Spivey and Tyson D. Kautsch and daughters-in-law Kathleen Kautsch and Stephanie Hofferbert and son-in-law Jim Spivey. Survived by her four beloved grandsons Jordan (Alexandra) and Evan Spivey and Brady (Kirsten Murphy) and Matthew Kautsch. Also survived by great grandchildren Sutton Pearl and Jasper James Spivey. Preceded in death by her brother Harvey Councilman and survived by brother Marvin Councilman. Also survived by her dearest friend since kindergarten, Edna Schneider and many loving nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express their love and gratitude to her Brightview family for the care and love she received over the last four years.
Friends may visit Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Road, Nottingham, MD 21236, on Wednesday, June 4th from 2-4pm and 6-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on June 5th at 10 am at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4815 Hamilton Ave. Baltimore MD 21206. Interment to follow at Parkwood Cemetery.
