

A funeral mass for Urania will be held Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St Anthony's, 1000 Cambridge St, Novato, California 94947. Following the funeral mass will be a burial at Valley Memorial Park, 650 Bugeia Ln, Novato, California 94945.
Born in Catano, Puerto Rico. The youngest of three. Parents were Julio Ochart and Angelina Mounier Ochart.
Through childhood she went to Catholic School. At 17 she graduated from the University of Rio Piedras, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, from secretary school..
Married in 1953 to Peter Manuel Dominguez in New York. Moved to Puerto Rico in 1954 where they lived until June 1968, then moving to the United States. Lived in Novato, CA in the same house for 53 years.
Married 56 years to Peter, our father, until he passed.
Had three children: Vanessa, Lourdes, and Peter Richard.
She Loved to cook, she loved to sew and create her own fashions that she would dream of. She liked gardening, writing letters, reading, listening to music.
She adored her three grandchildren: Soraya, Eric Tyson, and Peter Michael. She adored her seven great-grandchildren, who called her "Grandma-the-Great": Sebastian, Angelina, Ishmael (LIto), Christopher, Anthony, and twins Vivian and Tyson.
She was a devout Catholic, who at seventeen years of age joined a convent and contemplated becoming a nun. She was a wonderful woman, a strong woman, so caring and comforting. She always looked at the goodness of people. She was a philanthropist donating money to St. Jude's Children Hospital, several charities for the Veterans, the church and more.
To me she was my best friend, my confidant, my saintly mother who cared and loved dearly our family. You will forever live in our hearts and thoughts.
