     Such a wonderful woman.  Pat and I were friends for 20 years.  I met her at the Daylily Show in 1999, the first time I entered a design in the show.  Pat was such a sweet person, always had kind words and support for everyone.  She loved being a part of the Iris Society and the Daylily Society.  She and I worked on the design section for the Daylily Show for about 15 years.  She was a lot of fun to work with at the shows.  
     
Pat loved to share her home garden with her visitors.  When I would visit her she would walk me around her yard and tell me what she planned to do or what she had just done to her yard.  She always asked me, as we walked around, if I wanted this plant or that plant and so I would always came home with a plant she shared with me. 
  
I will miss you Pat.  Thank you for all of your smiles, and hugs, and support.  I love you.  Judith

There are so many wonderful memories to share about Pat.  She was  one of the most caring people I have ever known.  Pat had this wonderful naive sense of humor but occasionally caught you off guard with a completely different sense of knowing and a twinkle in her eye.  In her work world, she was responsible for so many nurses and doctors  and played such an important role in their training.  No doubt  we became better people having known her.  I will think of her many times in my life and she will always bring a smile to my face.
