Stella Faye Joiner (nee Aduddell) of Midwest City was born September 22, 1938, in Choctaw and passed away on September 13, 2020. She was the youngest of eight children of Georgia (Whitaker) and Earl Calvin Aduddell. She attended Choctaw High School and later worked at Southwestern Bell and then Tinker Air Force Base for many years until her retirement. She married John Everett Joiner on June 22, 1963; they were married for almost 33 years until his death in 1996. Stella was a lifelong Christian and a longtime member of First Church of the Nazarene and Community Church of the Nazarene in Midwest City. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her parents; her brothers Jerral Aduddell, Hoyt Aduddell, Jimmie Aduddell, and Duane Aduddell; and her sisters Freda Richardson and Reba Milkie. Survivors include her daughter Sheila Rosenberg and husband Mark; son John and wife Lisa; and daughter Lori Pierce and husband Kevin; her grandchildren Sean Haresnape, Sarah Harensape, Kourtney Pierce, Katie Joiner, Kayleigh Pierce, Khloe Pierce, Jack Joiner, and Claire Joiner; sister Thelma Taft; sisters-in-law Ruby Aduddell, Joy Aduddell Peavler, and Marian (Tootsie) Aduddell; and other family members. Stella was generous and kind, with a great sense of humor. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2020, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City. Services will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020, at 10:30 am at Midwest City Community Church of the Nazarene, 10200 SE 15th St, Midwest City, with burial following at Arlington Memory Gardens.
