I was blessed with bonding with my mom over the last months of her life and will cherish our time together. She turned out to be one of the strongest people I’ve known.
She is on my mind daily and I draw comfort knowing she’s at peace and no longer in pain.
Love you always mom 😘

I was so lucky to have grown up living next door to Aunt Elsie and Uncle Tom. It's where I learned life. I always referred to Aunt Elsie as my second Mom. You know how special someone has been in your life when something they did or said comes to mind on almost a daily basis. Just going about a menial task and something reminds me of her. Rest in peace Aunt Elsie. I love you!

Whenever I went over to Elsie&Toms house in Old Lyme with their backyard where they held the great family reunions over the years and was home to various animals big and small that they cared for. I'd walk into their house to a warm greeting and sit in their living room with them in the coziest warmest atmosphere you could imagine listening to the good conversations and hearty jokes, I always felt that I was in the restoring spiritual heart of the family. And when I left I would drive home to Simsbury feeling refreshed by the visit.

Sending our deepest condolences to the Bump family and all who loved "Elsie."

Heaven is a little brighter now that you're there, too, Elsie. Mom will be so happy to see you. I think I can hear the giggling from here.

With love...Zanda and Dick
