

Jimmy Lee Treadway, 56, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Methodist Olive Branch. He was born May 5, 1970 to Edgar and Barbara Treadway in Memphis, TN. Jimmy graduated from Sheffield High School in Memphis and worked as a master electrician and proud union member for many years. He had a big heart, was generous to others, and loved a good conversation. Jimmy was philosophical, enjoyed debating, and was passionate about what he believed in. He loved spending time boating at Pickwick and Sardis, playing snooker at Southaven Recreation Center, dancing, and trying new foods, especially at Owen Brennan's. Jimmy enjoyed life and loved making memories with family and friends. He was a big fan of the Florida Gators and Dale Earnhardt and loved talking about the things he cared about. Jimmy will be remembered for his kind heart, strong opinions, and the love he shared with those around him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Broadway Treadway and his stepmother, Mary Katherine Treadway. Jimmy leaves behind his father, Edgar Treadway of Lewisburg; his sister, Tina Treadway Hill of Lewisburg; two nieces, Kelsey Lauderdale (Will) of Lewisburg, and Brittney Surman (Luke) of Horn Lake, and a nephew, Nathan Hill of Nashville. He also leaves behind two great nieces, Lucy Grace, Sadie Kate, and a great-nephew, Henry Wayne. A private graveside service will be held at Boggan Cemetery in Olive Branch, MS.
