John Jay Teten

John Jay Teten, age 67, of La Vista, Nebraska passed away on Saturday March 2, 2019. John was born October 25, 1951 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Harvey Teten, Jr. and Ruth (Vigen) Teten. John was a drummer and played with a few bands, he loved music very much especially rock, the heavier the better. John tried his hands at many past times: collecting baseball cards, restoring cars, an avid gamer, seeking out new restaurants, collecting gemstones, and driving around town with his wife, Mary. He was a member of the Give team at PayPal and worked as a Quality Analyst with First Data Resources. He will be dearly missed.

John is survived by his wife, Mary Teten; daughter Stephanie Teten-Hardesty; daughter Suzanne (Daniel) Honaker; grandchildren Jordyn, Erik, and Scarlett; brother Bill Teten, sisters Kristine Penney and Barbara Eslinger-Simms. John was preceded in death by his parents Harvey Teten, Jr. and Ruth Teten.
